ALCOVE

Alcove units are simple wall-to-wall layouts with glass on a single 180-degree plane (i.e., no turns or angles for a second or third side of glass). Bathtubs are alcove layouts, as are shower stalls, which often get fitted with door and panel shower enclosures or modern sliding shower doors.

CORNER

Corner layouts have glass on two planes (or sides) that meet one another at 90 degrees. In many cases, corner units are laid out with a tiled shower pan beside a soaking tub, or two-sided showers with knee walls on one or both sides.

NEO ANGLE

Neo angle layouts consist of two or three planes of glass meeting one another at 135 degrees. The most popular neo angle layout has a glass door flanked by two wing panels, making it a three-sided shower enclosure. However, smaller bathrooms often make use of a 2/3 neo angle layout where a door meets a single stationary panel at 135 degrees to make a two-sided shower enclosure.
